Kildare Repair is looking for a highly skilled Automotive Technician to join our growing team in Columbus, Nebraska. This is not a lube tech position — we are searching for a true diagnostic and repair technician who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of the best team they’ve ever worked with.

If you have strong experience in engine repair, transmission replacement, suspension work, brake systems, and diagnostics, we want to talk to you.

We run a professional, well-equipped shop and are looking for technicians who are motivated, dependable, and ready to grow with a team that values skill and performance.

What You'll Be Doing

• Engine diagnostics and mechanical repair

• Transmission removal and replacement

• Suspension and steering repairs

• Brake system diagnostics and repair

• Electrical and drivability diagnostics

• Routine inspections and preventative maintenance

• Communicating findings with the service advisor and team

Qualifications

• 3+ years professional automotive repair experience preferred

• ASE certifications strongly preferred

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Experience with engine and transmission repair

• Ability to work efficiently in a team environment

• Valid driver's license

• Own tools required
